Matt Tesdell
VP & Owner, RCDD
Matt wears many hats at Tesdell Electric. During a typical week you can find him making estimates, managing projects, working on new technology designs, designing new lighting/shading systems, and providing tech and internal IT support among various other things. His favorite part of his job is engineering technology solutions that integrate cross-platform products into a unified solution for customers. He currently holds his Class A Master Electrical License as well as BICSI RCDD credential. When not at the office, Matt enjoys photography, volunteering, and spending time with his wife, Amy, and their three children.
Ron Tesdell
President & Founder
Ron is the President, Owner, and Founder of Tesdell Electric. He started Tesdell Electric over 45 years ago with the vision of providing superb electrical wiring to businesses, homeowners, and contractors throughout Des Moines and Iowa. During a typical week, you can find Ron providing estimates, working on design-build engineering projects, and performing overall company management. His favorite part about his job is getting to work with his awesome clients. He is originally from Slater, Iowa. He received his B.S. from Iowa State University. He enjoys spending time with his wife Pam and his sons, Matt and Mike, working, and teaching. He taught school for six years before starting Tesdell Electric.
Mike Tesdell
VP & Owner
During a typical week, you can find Mike making estimates, managing projects, scheduling service work, as well as overseeing our general labor force. He currently holds his Class A Journeyman Electrical License. When not at the office, Mike enjoys riding ATVs and spending time with his wife, Kim, and their two children.
